You can do up and down or around in a circle. The key is to make the braids small so they do not bulge out. If you are going to get a sew in weave don’t cheap out on the hair. Get good hair because you will have it in for a while and you can wash it while its sewn it. If you get cheap human hair it will look bad after it gets wet and you will end up taken it out. I have remy hair and its $50 a pack for 10 inch but it looks real and when I wash it, it looks good.
