I cut my hair short a few months back and Im kind of sick of it. I wanted to get a weave for a couple of months but I don’t know much about it. A couple of my friends have it but they are all black so I don’t know if there is any difference? And will it damage my real hair?

I’m black and no matter what type of hair you have getting a GLUE in weave will damage your hair.
You need a sew in weave. Basically the stylist will braid your natural hair on scalp. and sew the weave onto the braids. It wont damage your hair at all it accutally helps your natural hair because it lets it rest from all the daily hair styling.
make sure they use real hair for your weave and you’ll be able to wash/curl/flat iron it.
