black hair weave
I need to purchase some hair to get my hair done and I heard this was a very good option – I’m not worried about the price but I’d like to know if there are any other young ladies out there that have used this particular brand. How does it hold up? Is it easy to style? Is it easy to wash? I’m asking for your reviews – sistas, help me out please :)

Milky Way or Beverly Johnson is the best. That Milky Way is so smooth and sheek I haven’t heard of the Black Diamond. You might want to make your decision when you get to the hair store and ask them they can open the bags of hair up before you purchase them so you can make a final decision before you buy them, cause girl ain’t nothing like you go and spend all that money on some hair and it starts getting kinky in few days, man that crap gets on my nerves…..

I really like Black Diamond hair. I have used almost all types of hair except the extremely expensive hair. It did shed a little, but nowhere near Milky Way. Of course I’m not talking about the $100 bag of Milky Way…I think it was Milky Way Weave Master —starting at $30 and up. In my opinion I will continue to look/use Black Diamond. Everyone thought it was my real hair..I was able to curl/style it. The beautician that does my hair uses the really expensive hair…and it looks just as nice– of course not like hers. Hope this helps!

I do not like Black Diamond or Blue Diamond hair at all. This summer I had to re do my hair at least 4 times until my hair sylist found me a better brand which was bohyme hair. I bought my hair from the salon and I trusted them to provide me with good hair right? Wrong! (it’s not their fault technically) They first put in Black Diamond in May, by the time I went back to wash it ( in two weeks) It had shed so much It look like my hair was falling out (Disgusting). So, they thought perhaps it’s the package that was bad not the brand. They gave me Black diamond again for free in July. It Shed and Shed. When it was time for my wash, it was so mangled the owner of the Salon was disgusted and wanted to re-do my hair but my stylist didn’t have the time so they cut my hair in a bob. I was so mad. So, when I did my hair in August they put in Bohyme Hair. Girl, it looks, feels, and doesn’t shed. And when it came time to wash it I still had wicked hair left. Now, I went to redo my hair. I kept in some Bohyme hair and she gave me some Black diamond hair, and in week’s time, the Blue Diamond hair is tangled and mangled. So, the back of my head looks like a hot mess and the top of my head is in tact. So, tomorrow, I’m going back to my hair salon and speaking to the owner to replace my hair with Boyhme and to not pay for the service either.

I tied my hair down while I showered, before I went to bed and made sure to wear a hat and bring an umbrella when it was raining. So, it’s just terribly made hair. So, girlfriend, I wouldn’t purchase Black or Blue Diamond hair. You should purchase Bohyme hair if you could.

Hey there, I’ve been using black diamond (braiding) for 2 years…..I find the hair to be amazing. In some instances I’ve been able to take it out and reuse it (with proper hair care of course)….I have not used the hair for weaves, solely braids….I get mad compliments and love the texture, it doesnt tangle or mat.

I just recently got a full sew-in (maybe 2 weeks) with Black Diamond 10-inch. So far, I’m really in love with it. The hair has excellent quality. It’s very soft and looks very natural. I don’t know if my friend did the sew in nicely or if it’s just the hair but a lot of people had to look at me twice to see if it was my real hair. It’s shed a little bit but not as much as Milky Way did. But since I’ve only had it for 2 weeks, my word might not be as rational as the previous ones. Nonetheless, I hope I helped a little.

I have remy black diamond in my hair now. It was so thick and full and pretty when i first got it done it lasted for two weeks that it by the third week my hair was a hot mess. This hair tangles waaay to easily and if u wash it does not look the same no more. it sheds like crazy too, this hair sucks do not buy it.

I have the black diamond Italian wave and its the best wavy hair I’ve ever had and I’ve tried quite a few to include Velvet remy. I have had little to no shedding and no problems with tangling. The hair looks very natural and full even after one month. I washed it every two weeks and it bounces back great! I’m sticking with black diamond from now on. It’s held up and feels just as good as the super expensive hair that I got from my stylist

I have had in my black diamond remi for about a month now, and it is good hair given u know how to take care of it. For starters when u wash the hair you need to was it in one direction and not rub the hai all over like you would do your regular hair. Secondly its all about the products you use. For shampooing i use SoftSheen Carson weave care lightweight shampoo, and when u towel dry it do not just rub the hair allover the way you would do your natural hair as well simply pat your hair from top to bottom till it is not dripping wet, just damp, after you do that spray a good amount of isoplus wrap lotion in the hair comb through it from root to tip, then blow dry it with medium heat, not high heat. This hair also orks well with no product ex oil, grease, or heavy oil sheens.. the hair will frizz occasionally when this happens just put a dime size amount of pink oil mositurizer in your hand rub them together until it dissapears then rub it in your hair from root to tip. All of these procedures have worked for me so far.. I have in black diamond 12 and 14 inch.

I LOVE Black Diamond hair! The first time I ever had my hair done (sew-in) I used the 16″ and it kept for going on 2 months and was still wearable if I rolled it up in hot curlers and wore it curly. I just made sure to condition the hair, use low heat settings when I straightened then and made sure not to use any alcohol-based hair products. Since then, I’ve tried many different brands (Milky Way, PrivĂ©, EuroNext, etc) and I always found myself going back to Black Diamond.
