black hair weave
Natalie C asked:

Last year, when I was 16, I lost alot of my hair due to chemotherapy, not all of it, but alot. It was very long and thick and I have been contemplating getting a weave but I don’t know exactly what it is or how much they cost so could someone please let me know, and also, how do they differ from extensions?
Thanks.

Hair weave is actually weaved (braided/sewn) onto your already existing hair. I’ve heard they weave it in pretty tight. They can be somewhat expensive depending on the hair type you choose. They can be cut and styled to your preference though. Extensions are to make existing hair look fuller but they are strands of hair rather than a whole track of hair like a weave is. Hope that helps.
