Hair weave is actually weaved (braided/sewn) onto your already existing hair. I’ve heard they weave it in pretty tight. They can be somewhat expensive depending on the hair type you choose. They can be cut and styled to your preference though. Extensions are to make existing hair look fuller but they are strands of hair rather than a whole track of hair like a weave is. Hope that helps.
