I just got a new hair weave (sewn in) and really need it to last due to cost and time issues my previous weaves always only lasted me a very short period of time can somebody please tell me how I can maintain the bounce and natural look of my hair weave?? how to shampoo,which ones, how oftem chemicals to avoid………..etc.

    There’s a should be a special shampoo for weaves, but if you can’t find it. Go to a Sally’s and use micro braid shampoo, it’s a good alternative. Avoid hair grease(B&B, Ampro Marcel Wax), Hair Oil, and Castro Oil. These things slowly take out the ability to curl and straigthen it and also gives you flaking and extra grease build up. If you have to use anything in the morning to staighten or curl it, use about a nickel size of Pink hair lotion. :)
